Solar Cookies

Some of the campers and counselors at Camp Chewonki for Boys tested out the solar ovens this week and produced the ultimate expression of fine-solar-dining: the fabled solar chocolate-chip cookie. 

Powered completely by the sun, these parabolic solar reflectors (along with some handily-repurposed pizza boxes, sticks and tape) toasted up these treats in just a few minutes.
