Come back to Chewonki for a joyful day of reconnection, exploration, and summer celebration! We’re opening our 400-acre coastal peninsula to alumni, families, and friends for a full day of hands-on fun and coastal Maine delight.

Why Sliding Scale?
Homecoming is about bringing the Chewonki community together—and we want everyone to feel welcome. That’s why we’re offering free tickets for kids and teens and a sliding scale for adults.

💚 Volunteer Info 💚
Chewonki Homecoming runs on community power—and we’d love your help! Volunteers keep things running smoothly, from greeting guests to serving lunch.
Here's the deal:
Volunteer for 2+ hours
- Receive a free adult ticket
Volunteer for 4+ hours
- Receive a free adult ticket
- Eligible for a cabin stay in one of our Eastside Cabins (first come, first served)
We need volunteers on both August 22 and 23.
Camping is available both nights.
Volunteer roles:
- Parking assistance
- Registration table
- Lunch service
- Activity and craft station helpers
- Mobility assistance
- and more.
Timing is flexible.
You can split your volunteer hours across Friday and Saturday (Aug 22–23).
