Dear Chewonki Alumni and Friends,
With dusk arriving early and stars shining bright, I think of the many alumni and friends like you, each a spark that lights the Chewonki spirit.
That spirit connects us across years and seasons: one person splits while another stacks; one rinses while another racks; one group paddles while another cheers. It’s how our community takes shape again and again—through shared work, laughter, and care for one another and the natural world.

This November and December, your generosity goes even further. A group of Chewonki board members has created a $300,000 matching challenge to inspire giving before December 31.
All gifts of $1,000 or more will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $5,000 each. When we reach 500 gifts of any size, an additional $100,000 grant will be unlocked.
