Grand Opening of the Eastside Campus – Summer 2020

We are thrilled to announce an expansion to the Chewonki campus: next spring we will welcome the addition of cabins and programs on the east side of Chewonki Neck.

Our expansion plan includes five beautiful, light-filled cabins; a renovated dining space; a private waterfront; and dedicated activity spaces for Camp Chewonki for Girls. We will be offering half-session and full session options for girls, ages 8-15. Don’t miss your chance to be part of our inaugural group of girl campers on Chewonki Neck!

Innovative Design, Sustainable Focus

Few camps have the opportunity to build new cabins with the camper experience specifically in mind. With the help of OPAL, Susan T. Rodriguez | Architecture • Design, we have created a new standard for Maine summer camps, giving special attention to our social and sustainability goals.

With gorgeous sunrise views of Montsweag Bay, our new eastside facility will provide a new generation of young women the opportunity to call Chewonki home.
