Semester 54 arrived on campus on a bright sunny day just 24 hours after Maine’s first big winter storm, Juno. Parents and students saw a landscape transformed by new snow. And the storms kept coming, gracing orientation and the first weeks of classes with loads of fresh powder and polar temperatures. Students have been exploring Chewonki Neck on skis and snowshoes and skating and playing “ringette” on the pond–they are embracing winter! View opening day and the start of the semester photos here. We are already beginning to know each other well.
