Winter Guided Adventures

Debsconeag in winterCross-Country Skiing Debsconeag Wilderness Camps — (Call us if you have a group of friends who would like to experience Fourth Debsconeag Lake in winter)

We’ll meet in Millinocket and drive less than an hour to our starting point. The snowmobile transports our gear to the camps, allowing us a 12-mile ski to our destination. When we reach the camp you’ll have time settle into your cabin, that is already heated by a warm woodstove, and join the group in the main lodge for dinner and fellowship. We spend our days skiing the surrounding areas looking for signs of wildlife and enjoying the peace and quiet of the winter woods. If weather permits, we can climb nearby Ledge Mountain and take in views of Katahdin. We spend our evenings enjoying wholesome food, the warmth of the woodstove, the camaraderie of the group, or a good book.
